Do you wonder whether OpenVPN Cloud might be the right solution for your organization? To illustrate how this exact solution is helping real-world businesses like yours, we’re sharing customer testimonials like this one from Warburn Estate PTY LTD.
Founded in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia in 1968, Warburn Estate is currently the 8th largest winery in Australia and exports wine to almost 30 countries. Warburn is still privately owned as a fourth-generation family business. They continue to grow their market, expanding their sales into other countries due to the popularity and success of their wines. Warburn Estate Ranks 7th by sales of branded product and 8th by total wine production in Australia.
We caught up with Phil Van Veen, Technical Manager at Warburn Estate, to learn about his experience with OpenVPN Cloud.

Connecting with Phil Van Veen
Warburn Estate uses OpenVPN Cloud to simplify their VPN requirements and set users up quickly and securely with a connection back to their network.
Prior to using OpenVPN Cloud, Warburn Estate used an in-house VPN server (Microsoft l2tp connection).
According to Van Veen, the transition to OpenVPN Cloud was a great experience. “The OpenVPN portal was easy to set up,” he says, adding that he appreciated the “smooth, quick user interface.”
One major win in Van Veen’s eyes was the time savings. “Time is expensive in the manufacturing industry, therefore it is critical we buy solutions that are time-sensitive. OpenVPN absolutely delivers here! It is also very easy to configure. It was a very user-friendly onboarding experience.”

When it comes to stand-out features, Van Veen is sold on the flexibility of OpenVPN Cloud. He likes that he “can add multiple networks and have OpenVPN clients route to these networks flawlessly, without the usual routing issues due to configuration/compatibility issues, etc. It basically does it all for you, and you just need to specify the networks.”
When asked if OpenVPN Cloud has made his life easier, Van Veen’s response is a resounding yes. “100% yes! As explained before, the ease of use is out of this world!!”
Van Vees has nothing but praise for the folks working behind the scenes on OpenVPN Cloud. “It seems to us that OpenVPN has some skilled technicians building their softwares/portals,” he remarked. “These days, it’s hard to find a company that builds rock-solid user-friendly software.”
When we asked Van Veen whether he would recommend OpenVPN Cloud to another company, his answer was a yes, especially for businesses looking to manage their budget and their time. “It’s cost-effective and easy to use.”
