OpenVPN Now Offers a 5-Connection Plan

You asked, we listened. We’re proud to announce that OpenVPN now offers a 5-connection plan specifically designed with startups, small teams, and small businesses in mind. We know that even small teams need secure access to SaaS (applications distributed among many cloud and on-premises networks), and cost shouldn't be a barrier.

That’s why we’ve modified our pricing plans for CloudConnexa and Access Server to provide a lower-cost entry point that’s perfect for your business. Now you can get the secure network access you need and deserve at a price point you can afford.

We’ve modified our pricing plans for CloudConnexa and Access Server to provide a lower-cost entry point that’s perfect for your business.

The 5-connection plan is ideal for early-stage startups looking for a reliable networking solution that’s easy to deploy — with a low cost of ownership.

Which Products are Included in the 5-Connection Plan

Previously, for both CloudConnexa and Access Server, the lowest number of connections you could purchase was ten. We realize that smaller teams may not require that many connections, so we’ve introduced this new 5-connection pricing tier.

Remember, the 5-connection pricing tier is applicable to both our fully-managed service, CloudConnexa, and our self-hosted Access Server, so you can choose the solution that’s best for your business

You can deploy our easy-to-use and widely available Access Server for full control. Or you can use our service, CloudConnexa, to eliminate the hassle (and cost) of acquiring servers and security appliances, maintaining your systems, adding expert staff, etc.

Either solution has all the basics you need to secure your business.

Why the 5-Connection Plan is Right for Your Startup

Regardless of industry, even the smallest businesses need to invest in efficient connectivity and robust security.

According to Fundera’s 30 Surprising Small Business Cyber Security Statistics (2021):

  • 66% of small businesses report being concerned or extremely concerned about cybersecurity risk.
  • 47% of small businesses don’t know how to protect themselves against cyberattacks.
  • 3 out of 4 small businesses don’t have IT personnel to address network security.

If you use any technology in your business, secure networking is key. Connectivity between on-premises and remote workers is becoming increasingly necessary with today’s work, yet insecure connections pose inherent cybersecurity risks. Apps — with their notoriously insufficient security — for everything from accounting and banking to project management and POS systems can put your business in danger, too.

Bad actors are just as interested in hacking your business as they are in Fortune 500 companies. In fact, 43% of cyberattacks target small businesses. And it’s not just your ideas that are at risk of being hacked. There’s also proprietary information, customer data, operational technology, employee information, and so much more.

It’s not just your ideas that are at risk of being hacked. There’s also proprietary information, customer data, operational technology, employee information, and more.

Consider this: could your business survive a hack? Fundera reports that the average cost to restore normal operations after a cyberattack is a whopping $955,429. Simply put, your startup can’t afford not to be protected.

Solutions like Access Server and CloudConnexa make it easy to protect your business from a variety of cyberthreats — while making the most of your budget.
