List, filter, and search for Users

Abstract

All Users, connection status, and key details are listed in one place. You can filter, search, do quick edits, view details, and add new Users from here.

The list displays each User's Connection Status, Username, Email, Group, Role, Auth Source, and Account Status.

View a list of Users

To view a list of all Users, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Users > Users.

    You will see a table listing all Users.

Filter the list of Users

To filter the list of Users, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Users > Users.

    You will see a table listing all Users.

  2. Click the Quick Filter options Online or Offline to filter the table based on the Connection Status easily.

    The table is filtered and shows only the applicable Users.

  3. To reset the filter, click the All Quick Filter.

  4. Click the icon_filter.png icon. Click Connected To from the drop-down menu.

    A selectable list of all the CloudConnexa Regions with search will appear as a drop-down list.

  5. Select one or more Regions and click Apply.

    The table will be filtered to show only the Users connected to the selected Regions. The applied Connected To filter will also be shown.

  6. To reset the filter, click X next to the applied Connected To filter.

  7. Click the icon_filter.png icon. Click Group from the drop-down menu.

    A selectable list of all the Groups with search will appear as a drop-down list.

  8. Select one or more Groups and click Apply.

    The table will be filtered to show only the Users belonging to the selected Groups. The applied Group filter will also be shown.

  9. To reset the filter, click X next to the applied Group filter.

Search the list of Users

To search for a specific User, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Users > Users.

    You will see a table listing all Users.

  2. Click the search_icon.png search icon.

    It will expand to accept your search keyword.

  3. Enter your search keyword.

    The table will dynamically change to show matching rows. You will see a No results match your criteria message if there are no matches.

  4. Click the X inside the search box to reset the search term and view all the table entries.

Edit User details from the list

To quickly edit particulars for a User, refer to Edit a User's Account Details.

Add another User

To add another User, refer to Add a User.

Sort the list of Users

To sort the list of displayed Users according to the Username, Email, Group, or Role, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Users > Users.

    You will see a table listing all Users.

  2. Hover over the Username, Email, Group, or Role column heading.

    You will see an ascending or descending arrow appear.

  3. Click on the arrow next to the column heading till the desired sort order is achieved.

    The table rows are sorted in descending or ascending order based on the data in the sort column. The sort arrow stays visible in the heading.

Delete one or more Users

To delete one or more Users, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Users > Users.

    You will see a table listing all Users.

  2. Select the check box(es) next to the User(s) you want to delete.

    You will see a bar appear at the bottom with the number of rows selected and a Delete button.

  3. Click Delete.

  4. A confirmation dialog box will warn that all Users´ Device Profiles certificates will be revoked. Click Delete.

View User details and make changes for a specific User

Click on the hyperlinked Username of the User shown in the Username column to see the User's details. Please refer to View details and devices for a User.

View User Group details and make changes for a specific User Group

Click on the hyperlinked Group name of the User shown in the Group column to see the User's details. Please refer to View, make changes, and delete a Network.View, make changes, and delete a Network

Manage User's Passwords

If CloudConnexa username/password authentication is used, the passwords can be managed from this list view. Refer to Manage passwords for a User.

Manage User's 2FA

If SAML authentication is not used and 2FA is enabled, 2FA resets and other actions can be managed from this list view. Refer to Reset 2FA for a User and Clear devices for which 2FA is being skipped for a User.
