Download a Host Connector's connection profile as a .ovpn file

Abstract

Obtaining the connection profile for a Host Connector as a .ovpn file is useful if the server you want to connect to CloudConnexa already has an OpenVPN-compatible client, such as Network Attached Storage (NAS) equipment.

Obtaining the connection profile for a Host Connector as a .ovpn file is useful if the server you want to connect to CloudConnexa already has an OpenVPN-compatible client, such as Network Attached Storage (NAS) equipment.

You can get the Connector's .ovpn file for an existing Host from the Connectors tab shown in the detailed view as shown in View, make changes, and delete a Host, or you can obtain it from the Connectors list as shown below:

  1. Navigate to Hosts > Connectors.

  2. Click the Deploy deploy_icon.png button for the Connector from the list.

  3. Select Download Profile in .ovpn format from the drop-down menu.

    The connection profile will be downloaded and saved in the web browser's default download directory.
