Add a Connector to a Network

Abstract

The Connector section allows you to add an additional Connector to an existing Network. After adding a Connector, an OpenVPN Connector needs to be deployed on the network, or the profile needs to be used with a compatible router.

A Connector can be added to a Network while configuring the new Network. Refer to About Networks. The Connector section allows you to add an additional Connector to an existing Network. You can add an additional Connector to an existing Network from the Connectors tab shown in the detailed view as shown in View, make changes, and delete a Network, or you can add it from the Connectors list as shown below:

The protocol used by the Connector being added will match the existing Network Connector's tunneling protocol: OpenVPN or IPsec

IPsec support is in closed Beta.

  1. Navigate to Networks > Connectors.

  2. Click Add Connector.

  3. Provide the Name for the Connector.

  4. Optionally, provide a Description.

  5. Select the Network for the Connector from the Network drop-down.

  6. Change the default Region shown to the closest to the application server's location if needed.

  7. Click Add Connector.

    The newly added Connector will appear in the list. For an OpenVPN Connector, choose the options from the Deploy drop-down menu, or for an IPsec Connector, click the Configure button.

The tutorial shows adding a Connector to an existing Network
