Edit an IPsec Connector's Configuration

Abstract

Edit a CloudConnexa IPsec Network Connector's tunnel configuration — update IP addresses, pre-shared key, and IPsec parameters. Changing the region updates the CloudConnexa public IP, thus taking the tunnel offline.

Overview

Edit an IPsec Connector's tunnel configuration to update its Conector public IP addresses, authentication settings, or advanced IPsec parameters.

You can update settings such as:

  • Connector Public IP Address

  • Pre-shared Key (PSK)

  • Connector hostname and domain, for supported platforms

  • IKE Version

  • Advanced configuration settings

  • Connection behavior settings

Edit the Connector

  1. Open the configured Connector's detail view. Refer to View a Configured IPsec Connector's Details.

  2. Select Edit Connector.

  3. Update the settings as needed.

  4. Select Update Connector.

    Important

If you change the Connector's Region, its CloudConnexa Public IP Address changes and the tunnel goes offline. Reconfigure your side of the tunnel with the new CloudConnexa public IP address to restore connectivity.

Edit the tunnel configuration

  1. Open the configured Connector's detail view. Refer to View a Configured IPsec Connector's Details.

  2. In the Tunnel Configuration section, select Edit Configuration.

  3. Update the IPsec configuration as needed.

  4. Select Update Configuration.

Note

Changes to the tunnel configuration may also require you to reconfigure the corresponding IPsec settings on your remote VPN device.

For general IPsec configuration steps, refer to Configure a Generic IPsec Tunnel from Your Private Network to CloudConnexa.
