Delete a Shield Policy
Delete a custom Shield Policy in CloudConnexa from the policy's Overview tab — User Groups assigned to the deleted policy automatically revert to the Default Policy. The Default Policy can't be deleted.
Overview
Use Delete Policy to permanently remove a custom Shield Policy from CloudConnexa.
When you delete a policy, any User Groups assigned to it fall back to the Default Policy.

Delete a policy
Open the custom Shield Policy you want to delete by selecting Edit.
On the Overview tab, select Delete Policy.
Review the confirmation message.
The confirmation explains that deletion is permanent and that any User Groups assigned to the policy will revert to the Default Policy.
Confirm the deletion.
CloudConnexa removes the policy and reassigns its User Groups to the Default Policy.
Important
Deleting a Shield Policy is permanent. If the affected User Groups should use another custom policy instead of the Default Policy, reassign them after deletion. Refer to Assign User Groups to a Shield Policy.
If deletion fails
If CloudConnexa can't delete the policy:
The policy isn't removed.
Its User Group assignments remain unchanged.
An error message displays with a Retry option.
Default Policy
The Default Policy can't be deleted. Its Delete Policy button is disabled.
