Duplicate a Shield Policy
Duplicate a Shield Policy in CloudConnexa to reuse its Domain Filtering, Traffic Filtering, and Allow/Block List settings as a starting point for a new policy — User Group assignments are not copied, and the duplicate must be saved under a unique name.
Overview
Use Duplicate to create a Shield Policy based on an existing policy. CloudConnexa copies the Domain Filtering, Traffic Filtering, Domain Allow List, and Domain Block List settings from the source policy and opens a new policy with those settings pre-filled.
You can then modify the copied settings and save the new policy under a unique name.

Important
User Group assignments aren't copied. The duplicated policy starts with no assigned User Groups. After creating the policy, assign the appropriate groups separately. Refer to Assign User Groups to a Shield Policy.
Duplicate a policy
Navigate to Shield → Policies.
Locate the source policy you want to duplicate.
Select Duplicate policy.
CloudConnexa opens the new policy form with the source policy's filtering and Allow/Block List settings pre-filled.
Enter a unique Policy name.
Tip
The new policy follows the same Policy name requirements as any other Shield Policy. For more information about the name requirements and other settings, refer to Create or Edit a Shield Policy.
Assign User Groups to the new policy as needed.
Refer to Assign User Groups to a Shield Policy.
Review and modify the copied settings as needed.
Select Create Policy.
CloudConnexa creates the new Shield Policy and returns you to the Shield Policies list.
Policy limit
If your WPC has reached its policy limit, you can't duplicate another Shield Policy.
