Add a Device for a User⁠

Devices are automatically added to the User when the User authenticates and downloads a connection profile from a device. If automatic profile distribution is disabled, you need to add a Device for the User. Refer to Profile Distribution.

To add a Device to a User, follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to your WPC's Administration portal by entering your Cloud ID in a web browser (for example, company_name.openvpn.com).

2. Navigate to Users > Devices.

3. Click Add Device.

4. For Name, provide a name for the device.

5. For Description, optionally provide one.

6. For User, select one from the drop-down list. Search can be used by typing in the field.

7. For Client UUID, optionally provide the device's UUID.

8. Click Add Device.
