Select malicious traffic to block based on threat priority levels

Abstract

You can configure Traffic Filtering (IPS) to block malicious traffic matching threat signatures of different threats by the threat severity

You can configure Traffic Filtering (IPS) to block malicious traffic matching threat signatures of different threats by the threat severity instead of the threat categories. To learn more about the threat priorities, refer to Traffic Filtering Priorities, Categories, and Protection Levels

To select the threat priority levels to block, follow the steps below:

  2. Navigate to Shield > Configuration.

  3. Click Priorities in the section navigation that appears to the right under Traffic Filtering.

  4. Select whether to block threats of only Critical severity, Critical and High severities, or all three levels of severity.

  5. Click Update.
