Export DNS log entries

The DNS log entries can be exported as a CSV file. An email with a link to the CSV file will be emailed.

To export the DNS entries in a CSV file, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your WPC's Administration portal by entering your Cloud ID in a web browser (for example, company_name.openvpn.com).

  2. Navigate to API & Logs > DNS Log.

  3. Set the date-range picker to the time period of interest: Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or a specific date interval. Click Apply.

If there were any logs for the chosen time interval, the time chart will display the day/hour and the number of allowed, blocked, and failed DNS requests made as a stacked bar chart.

If there were any logs for the chosen time interval, a table of log entries will be displayed below the chart.

  4. Optionally, filter the displayed entries. Refer to Filter DNS log entries.

  5. Click email export to csv icon.

  6. You will receive an email with a link to download a CSV file containing all the log entries matching the set filters.
