Adding Shortcuts on Android⁠

You can control the VPN connection using shortcuts on Android devices. You can quickly connect to a specific profile by adding a shortcut on your phone for OpenVPN Connect:

1. Launch OpenVPN Connect.

2. Tap the edit icon for the profile you want to make a shortcut.

3. Tap Set Connect Shortcut.

4. Enter a shortcut name or keep the default suggestion and tap Create.

5. Add the app shortcut to your home screen.

You can quickly disconnect from the VPN by adding a shortcut on your phone for OpenVPN Connect:

1. Launch OpenVPN Connect.

2. Tap the menu icon at the top left.

3. Tap Settings.

4. Tap Set Disconnect Shortcut.

5. Add the app shortcut to your home screen.
