Set a Default DNS Suffix

Setting a default suffix will enable Windows clients to resolve host names to FQDN names. You can define only one default suffix.

To set a default DNS suffix, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your WPC's Administration portal by entering your Cloud ID in a web browser (for example, company_name.openvpn.com).

  2. Navigate to Settings → DNS.

  3. Select Edit DNS Server Details.

  4. Expand the Advanced Configuration section.

  5. Enter the DNS suffix in the Default DNS Suffix field. For example, corp.net.

  6. Select Update.

  7. Check that the details shown in the confirmation dialog box are correct, and select Confirm.
