Different Log Streaming States

Abstract

This document explains the different states that are displayed for Log Streaming.

The different states for Log Streaming are listed below:

  • Pending configuration: The setup and activation of Log Streaming is pending during this stage.

  • Provisioning: The log stream is being set up during this state.

  • Error: An error was encountered while writing logs to the configured S3 bucket. Log Streaming continues gathering events for 24 hours if Log Streaming was in the Active state before the Error. This means that after recovering from the Error state, the messages generated during the last 24 hours would be delivered to the AWS S3 bucket.

  • Paused: Log Streaming stops collecting logs from CloudConnexa during this state. Only new messages generated after being unpaused will be sent to the AWS S3 bucket on resumption.

  • Active: Log Streaming is properly configured and ongoing normally during this state.
