Edit a Profile
Abstract
How to edit a profile in OpenVPN Connect, our free VPN client mobile app.
To edit a profile on your device:
Tap or click the edit icon next to the profile.
Tip
Ensure you are disconnected from the VPN for the edit icon to display.
On the edit screen, you can change some of the details of your profile:
Profile Name: Give the profile a name that displays in the app. The default is the username at the server domain.
Server Override: (Optional) Manually enter a value to override the Server Hostname field populated above.
Proxy: Include a proxy when connecting. This requires creating a separate proxy configuration.
Tap or click Save to save your changes.
