Set IP Allocation Versions
Choose whether CloudConnexa assigns both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, or IPv4 addresses only, across Devices, Connectors, and other WPC resources.
CloudConnexa manages IP addresses in your WPC for several purposes:
IP address allocation for User Devices and Connectors.
IP service configuration in Networks.
Custom DNS networks.
You can control which internet protocol (IP) versions CloudConnexa operates for your WPC, including which versions are allocated to Devices and Connectors and which are available in the Administration portal.
This setting applies globally across your WPC and determines how IP addresses are assigned from the configured WPC subnets.
Edit IP allocation versions
To change the IP allocation setting, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Settings → WPC.
Click Edit.
Scroll to IP Allocation Versions.
Select one of the following options:
IPv4 and IPv6
IPv4 Only
Confirm the IP allocation change.
(Optional) Scroll to WPC Subnet and configure the IP address ranges for the selected IP protocol(s).
Click Update.
Check that the details shown in the confirmation dialog box are correct, and click Confirm.
Notes
This setting applies to all Devices, Connectors, and other resources in your WPC.
It also determines which IP versions are available for configuration in Networks and DNS records.
Ensure your WPC subnets are configured for the selected IP protocol(s).
Switching to IPv4 Only removes all existing IPv6 configurations in your WPC, including IPv6 routes, IP service subnets, and DNS records.
