Change Internet Access for User Groups, Networks, and Hosts

Abstract

Learn how to change internet access settings in CloudConnexa for user groups, networks, and hosts using Split Tunnel, Restricted Internet, and Internet Gateway configurations.

Use the Internet Access section to centrally manage how internet traffic is routed for user groups, networks, and hosts connected to CloudConnexa.

From this page, you can:

  • View and manage internet access settings in one place.

  • Control whether internet traffic is tunneled through CloudConnexa or routed locally.

  • Restrict internet access entirely.

  • Assign specific internet gateways for internet-bound traffic.

Change Internet Access settings

To change Internet Access settings for user groups, networks, or hosts, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Access → Internet.

  2. Select the appropriate tab:

    • User Groups

    • Networks

    • Hosts

  3. Use filters or search to locate the entry you want to modify.

  4. Click on the edit (pencil_icon.png) icon next to the entry.

  5. Select the required setting from the Internet Access drop-down menu.

  6. Click Update Internet Access.

    Note

    When Split Tunnel Off is selected, All Internet Gateways is used by default unless specific internet gateways are configured.

    Tip

    If you select Split Tunnel Off or Restricted Internet for a user group, you can configure Tunnel Bypass to allow specific destinations to be routed locally.

    Click Manage Exclusions in the Internet Access column for the user group after saving. Refer to About Tunnel Bypass.
