Tutorial: How to Configure Group Access Control

Abstract

Configure access control for your VPN users on Access Server. This tutorial shows how to set it up at the group level.

Overview

Grant access to a specific resource, group, or user for a specific group of VPN users.

Prerequisites

  • An installed Access Server.

  • Configured users and at least one group.

Step 1: Grant access to a resource for a group of VPN users

  1. Sign in to the Admin Web UI.

  2. Click Access Controls.

    • The Group and User Access Rules tab displays.

  3. Click New Access Rule.

  4. Set the target to Group.

  5. Select or type the group name.

  6. Enter the IP address or subnet, Protocol, and NAT/Route.

  7. Click Save rule.

  8. Click Restart.
