  1. In the top navigation menu, click Change Password.

    Important

You may need to ensure you use a strong password if your admin has set that requirement for your Access Server instance.

  4. Click Update Password.

    • You've updated your password.

I don't know my current password

If you don't know your current password, you can't change it from the Client Web UI. Contact your Access Server administrator and ask them to reset your password from the Admin Web UI.

The Change Password option isn't available

The Change Password option is only available for accounts using local authentication. If you sign in using SAML or another external identity provider, password changes must be performed through that provider.

I see an error saying my password couldn't be verified

If you see the following message when changing your password: "Could not verify your password. Please re-enter it and try again. Your Access Server administrator may have enforced strong password requirements.

A strong password must meet all of the following criteria:

  • At least 8 characters long.

  • Contains at least one uppercase letter.

  • Contains at least one lowercase letter.

  • Contains at least one symbol from the following set:

    ! # $ % & - ( ) * + , - . / [ ] ^ { | } " < >

Ensure your new password meets these requirements, then try again.

My new password and confirmation don't match

If you see the following message when changing your password: Your confirmed password does not match the new password. Please re-enter both fields for accuracy. The new password and the confirmation password must be entered exactly the same.

Re-enter your new password in both fields, ensuring there are no typos, extra spaces, or differences in capitalization, and try again.
