Subversion Repository (decommissioned)
The OpenVPN Subversion (SVN) server at svn.openvpn.net is decommissioned and no longer available. OpenVPN development, including all current and past release branches, is on GitHub:
If you have bookmarks, scripts, or build pipelines that point to svn.openvpn.net, update them to use the GitHub repository.
Get the source code
Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/OpenVPN/openvpn.git
cd openvpnTo build from source, follow the instructions in the repository's INSTALL file.
Find older release branches
The code that was in the old SVN trunk and branches (such as OpenVPN 2.0.x and 2.1) is part of the Git history. To list the available release branches:
git branch -rTo switch to an older release branch, such as 2.1:
git checkout release/2.1View revision history
Use git log in place of svn log -v:
git log --statContribute or report issues
