Skip two-factor authentication on trusted devices

If you have configured the Allow Trusted Devices feature, your users can skip two-factor authentication on trusted devices for 30-day periods.

Steps: Bypass two-factor authentication for 30 days

Each user must:

  1. Navigate to the OpenVPN user portal sign-in screen in a web browser or with the OpenVPN Connect app.
  2. Enter a username and password, and click Sign In.
    • The two-factor authentication code prompt page opens.
  3. Check the box to trust the device prior to entering the code.
  4. Enter the code.
