AppHub

What is it?

AppHub is a peer-to-peer share platform that allows CloudConnexa Owners and Administrators (App Providers) to publish and share access with other CloudConnexa tenants (App Clients) to domain name addressable resources Applications) hosted within their WPC.

Who should use it?

CloudConnexa Owners and Administrators who want to share secure access to specific Applications) hosted within their WPC. These resources can be shared with current CloudConnexa tenants or third-party entities who are invited to join CloudConnexa — in effect, creating a secure extranet.

Why should I use this?

AppHub can be used for a number of use cases. App Publishers can share secure access with App Clients (users within different WPCs) to resources hosted within their WPC for:

  • Network / Host-based micro-segmentation – Zero Trust. Allow access to only the necessary resources a user should have by separating resources onto a different WPC.

  • Cost management – Resource budgeting and bill-back purposes. Separate resources across departments across different WPCs.

  • Testing – QA and UX testing. Separate your environments so that there is no impact on Production.

  • Shared resources hosted within their WPC (for example SaaS or on-prem applications) with external business partners.

Note

This is ideal for tenants who use different authentication methods than the App Provider.
