Tutorial: How to Configure User Access Control
Access Server provides granular user access with its access control. This tutorial shows you some of the features.
Overview
This tutorial shows how to grant access for a VPN user to a specific resource based on the subnet.
An installed Access Server.
Configured users.
The resource's subnet.
Sign in to the Admin Web UI.
Click Users.
For the user you want to grant access, click their username.
Click the Group and User Access Rules tab on the single user page.
The User-Level Access Rules display, which includes any user, group, or global access rules.
Click New Access Rule, and enter the details in the Define user access rule section that displays. For example, you could enter the subnet of a print server, 203.0.113.12/32.
Tip
For a subnet, when you want the reference to represent that single IP address, you enter /32, per CIDR address formatting.
Click Save and Restart.
