High Availability in Access Server
Access Server supports two high-availability setups:
Click on the section for the high-availability mode best suited for your environment. Clustering uses two or more simultaneously active servers with a configuration stored on a shared database. Failover uses two servers in the same network location, with one active and one serving as a standby node.
The benefits of high availability
- Deploy a team of Access Servers.
- Provide consistent up-time.
- Increase load capacity across multiple servers.
- Remove a single point of failure with one Access Server.
