Backups

We recommend you safeguard your VPN server and client configurations with backups.

Access Server saves all of your network specifications in configuration files. By default, these files are saved in an SQLite3 database on the same server. Optionally, Access Server can store configuration files on a separate database server.

Tip

We recommend creating regular backups and automating the task, such as using a corn job to manage backup tasks unattended.

Creating a backup VPN tunnel
