Changing the Region for an IPsec Connectorupdates the CloudConnexa public IP address and causes the tunnel to go offline. You must reconfigure your side of the tunnel to restore connectivity. Refer to Reconfigure the IPsec tunnel after changing the Region.
Caution
“Warning! CloudConnexa Public IP Address will be changed. Connector will be Offline until you reconfigure your side of the tunnel.”
Click Update Connector.
Reconfigure the IPsec tunnel after changing the Region
When you change the Region for an IPsec Connector, the tunnel goes offline because the CloudConnexa public IP address changes.
To restore connectivity, update your tunnel configuration to use the new public IP address.
After the Region is updated, you can find the new IP address in the CloudConnexa Pulblic IP Address section on the Connector details page. Refer to View a configured IPsec Connector's details.
Update your tunnel configuration as needed, including the tunnel destination and remote ID.
AWS-specific notes:
If your Customer Gateway doesn't use a fixed IP address and you're using certificate-based authentication, no changes may be required.
If you're using a pre-shared key, create a Customer Gateway and attach it to your site-to-site VPN connection. Refer to Tutorial: Connect AWS to CloudConnexa with IPsec using VPG.
