# Clear devices for which 2FA is being skipped for a User

If the 2FA settings allow for trusted devices, you can clear a User's trusted devices when you need to reset their 2FA method or if one of the trusted devices is compromised.

> **Note**
>
> 2FA and **Allow Trusted Devices** should be enabled (unavailable when SAML is being used for authentication), and the User's Account Status should be **Active**. Refer to [Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)](https://openvpn.net/cloud-docs/owner/settings/settings---user-authentication/set-two-factor-authentication--2fa--for-users.md).

To clear a User's trusted 2FA devices (i.e., devices for which 2FA check is skipped during logins), follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to your WPC's Administration Portal at your **Cloud ID** address (for example, `yourcompany.openvpn.com`).
2. Navigate to **Users \> Users**.
3. Click on the icon on the row for the User whose trusted devices you want to clear.
4. Select **Clear Trusted Devices for 2FA** from the drop-down menu.
5. Click **Confirm** in the dialog box.
