  • After installation, you sign in to the Admin Web UI for the first time using the admin account, openvpn with a temporary password.

  • A server without a subscription allows 2 VPN connections.

  • When you click to get an activation key, you can purchase a subscription for the connections and billing terms you need.

  • Activate your subscription key by pasting it from the Access Server Portal into the Admin Web UI.

  • Setting up a domain name for your server rather than the public IP address is more user-friendly.

  • You can configure VPN settings to set up NAT or routing, provide access to private subnets, split tunnel VPN, and others.

  • Replace your temporary password.

  • Configure users directly with local authentication.

  • Create and manage user groups.

  • Configure additional authentication systems, including SAML.

  • Enable multi-factor authentication.

  • Set the password lockout policy.

  • Set up an Access Server cluster for load balancing and redundancy.
