[Openvpn-users] iptables line for tap0

  • Subject: [Openvpn-users] iptables line for tap0

Noting the instructions for ethernet bridge
as specified at:
http://openvpn.net/bridge.html
I see:
   iptables -A INPUT -i tap0 -j ACCEPT
   iptables -A INPUT -i br0 -j ACCEPT
   iptables -A FORWARD -i br0 -j ACCEPT
But setting up on a Linux (FC7) box I find
that the line:
   iptables -A INPUT -i tap0 -j ACCEPT
is unnecessary. Any comments?

Thanks,
Mike.
