[Openvpn-users] port-share with 2.6.21.5

i am using an openvpn tcp server (2.1_rc4) with port-share.

i recently changed from slack 10.1 (kernel 2.4.29) to slack 12.0
(kernel 2.6.21.5-smp).

it worked beautifully before, and it's still working.

BUT: i now have, after (nearly?) every

    Non-OpenVPN client protocol detected
    SIGTERM[soft,port-share-redirect] received, client-instance exiting

a huge number of entries

TCP: accept(3) failed: Socket operation on non-socket (errno=88)

in my log, filling the log within a few days to 2gb (thusly killing
my openvpn) and making the logs unreadable (for practical purposes,
anyway).

what might be my problem?
2.6 threading?
a dual core processor (smp was not used under 2.4, here)?
