[Openvpn-users] How do I solve this issue:

  • Subject: [Openvpn-users] How do I solve this issue:

When trying to connect to my open vpn server I get:

Wed May 16 07:08:13 2007 There is a problem in your selection of
--ifconfig endpoints [local=192.168.5.20, remote=192.168.5.2]. The
local and remote VPN endpoints must exist within the same
255.255.255.252 subnet. This is a limitation of --dev tun when used
with the TAP-WIN32 driver. Try 'openvpn --show-valid-subnets' option
for more info.

What do I have to change in the config files? Is it a change on the
server or on the client?

Thanks.
