Hi,

I have 2 gateways, one is Fedora Core 2 and another Fedora Core 3.

I'm using OpenVPN 1.6

The gateway "A", my interfece tun is: (Fedora Core 2)

tun0 Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol
        inet addr:172.16.254.253 P-t-P:172.16.254.254 Mask:255.255.255.255
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1259 Metric:1
        RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
        TX packets:9 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
        collisions:0 txqueuelen:10
        RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:432 (432.0 b)

The gateway "B" , my interface tun is: (Fedora Core 3)

tun0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr
EE-FE-3B-A3-B8-00-F4-CF-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00
        inet addr:172.16.254.254 P-t-P:172.16.254.253 Mask:255.255.255.255
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1259 Metric:1
        RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
        TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
        collisions:0 txqueuelen:10
        RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)

My question is: How can I set gateway "B" to use Link encap equal as gateway "A" ??? (point-to-point protocol versus unspec)

Best regards,

Anderson.
