First you should stop top posting, a lot of people are very particular
about that.

Secondly, try to follow what the previous person suggested, it will work
just fine.  

Freebsd now uses .sh scripts and the /etc/rc.conf file for starting a
lot of services.  i'm sure you can add a line similar to
openvpn_enable="yes" to it and it will read the
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/openvpn.sh script and start your service.
