what is your uplink like (dsl, modem, cellphone)?

what is your config like?

i had similar problems (stale tunnel) over cellphone connecttls-client

remote 217.24.83.98 32000 dev tun pull ca /etc/ssl/certs/DOL.crt cert /etc/ssl/certs/vpn.crt key /etc/ssl/private/vpn.key reneg-sec 3000 mute 20 keepalive 10 120ions (narrow

bandwidth, long latency) with to large mtu. deacreasing it to about 1300/1400
made it work fine.

Quoting richard <rvenne@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>:

I get this openvpn(beta 15) error message when I put in "ls /etc/", or "less $A_BIG_PLAIN_TEXT_FILE". my session freeze and the only way to get it back is killing the ssh process (openvpn still running).

linux client------->fbsd server--------->linux client

thanks for help
