[Openvpn-users] Bug in client-server-mode

Hello,

when I use openvpn 2.0-beta19 in client-server-mode, TLS and the option
"server 192.168.73.0 255.255.255.192",
then the server has

ifconfig
tun0 inet addr:192.168.73.1 P-t-P:192.168.73.2 Mask:255.255.255.255

and the client has

ifconfig
tun0 inet addr:192.168.73.58 P-t-P:192.168.73.57 Mask:255.255.255.255

But both computers can not ping the peer, because these addresses
(192.168.73.2,192.168.73.57) are virtual.

In this case the options --ping, --ping-restart, --ping-exit, --keepalive
and so on will not work.

Best Regards

        Stefan Luethje
