[Openvpn-users] --ifconfig-pool in Bridge Mode

  • Subject: [Openvpn-users] --ifconfig-pool in Bridge Mode

Since in Bridge Mode, I use:

local <ip.address.of.openvpn_server>

...as opposed to:

ifconfig <some.virtual.ip.address> <some.virtual.subnet.255>

Am I correct to assume that --ifconfig-pool will simply not function in a Bridged configuration? It would be quite convenient to define a range of IP addresses that are assigned to the clients in a DHCP-like manner, rather than have to define an IP address in each client's config.
