Today, I want to reach out to offer some encouragement. As we face this difficult time together, I want you to know OpenVPN is here to support you; our first priority is the health and well-being of our customers, partners, and community. We are grateful the majority of our team already works remotely, and so we have been well equipped to handle the influx of volume we’ve seen as current customers scale up license needs and new customers deploy new remote workforces. We are sensitive to the fact that this new remote workspace might be stressful for many of you, and we want you to know we are here to help you make that transition smoothly.
Know that we are actively expanding our support and customer success teams, and working around the clock to make sure we get to each of your customer care tickets. We are also working with educational institutions and non-profit organizations to ensure they get what they need to function successfully during this time. We’re connecting with customers like you as well as new customers to provide education and support on the best way to set up Access Server to meet each of your individual needs. Please remember that for a team, a personal VPN is not enough to secure your network resources — a business VPN is what provides that key support. While it’s likely there is yet more to come in this global crisis, we want you to know that we take our role providing security and support for businesses and teams very seriously, especially for those making this transition so unexpectedly.
