Yeah, I thought about that workaround, but I don't like it. My workaround was just to go back using DHCPD that I had already set up. If it only happened when using the reconnect/f3 function I'd just go ahead, but XP (but not 2k it seems) had a high occurrence of this problem happening on a fresh start.
