[Openvpn-users] push interface alias

  • Subject: [Openvpn-users] push interface alias

I would like to push an interface alias to road-warriors.
I use a ccd file for each user, with an "ifconfig-push" line which sets
the tunnel interface. I've tried putting a line:
	push "ifconfig tun0:0 10.100.254.3"
into the ccd file, but it seems to be quietly ignored. I've put the
alias assignment into a command invoked by "--up" at the end of the
client config file, and it does what I want, but I don't feel right
about it. Is there a way to push an ifconfig command, or equivalent,
to clients?

Thanks,

Bob Barry
