[Openvpn-users] Change OpenVPN server, can I use the same client configurations?

I need to move my OpenVPN server (OpenVPN 2.0-1sarge3 on Debian Linux 2.4.2,
not that it should matter much) to a different piece of hardware or possibly
a virtual environment.

The goal is to make no change in the client configurations or distributed
certificates and keys.

How do I install a fresh OpenVPN server and "import" the existing server's
settings and certificates?

Does the machine need to keep the same internal IP address?

(Obviously, the external firewall will forward the proper external IP to
this new machine when ready.)

Can someone kindly point me to a RTFM or How-To for this? (Sorry that I was
unable to find one.)
