Hi Landon

Thanks for the information, let me rephrase my question.

What is the authentication mechanism for the plugin. The way I
understand your set up is that you just check for the preesence of the
user in AD. Is the password implicitly passed to the bind of this request?

The way I understand authentication against AD is that a successful bind
 with the username/password tuple is a successful authentication, but
not being an AD buff I may be wrong.
