I have a OpenVPN server which I know works correctly, because I have connected from outside with a Windows XP client. But now in another office, also with Windows XP clients, I can't connect. In the console window these lines appear several times: Route: Waiting for TUN/TAP interface to come up... TEST ROUTES: 0/0 succeeded len=1 ret=0 a=0 u/d=down When this stops, it says: Initialization Sequence Completed With Errors. In the system tray it seems that the network interface comes up, but can't get a IP and mask. After some time it gets one but I think it's random, it's not in the IP pool I set on the server. I have tried ip-win32 manual and then I set the IP and mask but I never see other machines in the VPN. In the server I see: Re-using SSL/TLS context LZO compression initialized 81.36.121.28:10455 [zgz1] Peer Connection Initiated with 81.36.121.28:10455 read UDPv4 [ECONNREFUSED]: Connection refused (code=111) There is no software firewall in the new clients. I think the router isn't blocking anything either, because in that case no communication would be made. I mean some connection occurs because if I type an incorrect username/passwords it says AUTH FAILED, but if the password is ok it prints a different message... but the full VPN connection doesn't work.
