Does Maq3 have a return route (such that it knows to route traffic to 
Maq1 via Maq2)?

How are you setting the route in to Maq3 in Maq1? Is this via the 
OpenVPN route directive, or a different mechanism? Can you post the 
command or directive you use to do this?
