In particular, however, you should use a subject line which is 
descriptive of the issue which you're having.

What is your system? Is it connected to the same LAN as the server? If 
so, is the server acting as the default gateway for your network? If 
not, do you have a route to the server from the system from which you're 
attempting to ping? If not, did you read the FAQ, particularly the entry 
[http://openvpn.net/faq.html#cant-ping-subnet]? If so, and you followed 
the instructions in the FAQ (to use tcpdump/ethereal/etc. to determine 
where the packets are and aren't going), what results did this testing 
give you?
