I am hoping someone can help me with this problem.
Let me explain my setup.
VPN Server OpenVPN 2.0.7 on Windows 2003 Enterprise Server.
One NIC with Public IP
I have set the range in the 172.16.10.* for the VPN users
and servers.
I want multiple clients to connect to this server, but I am
happy to get one to work at this stage as im pretty sure its routing.
I want to collect SNMP Data from the LAN clients (LAN
Clients behind VPN client are all WI-FI
Towers) behind the VPN
client. So I need 2 way capabilities.
The Clients all have the same hardware setups with two
NIC’s. NIC 1 is a Private address 172.23.*.* which connect to the
internet, the other NIC, NIC 2 is 172.16.2.1 and connects to the WI-FI towers.
Since all my installations are 172.16.2.* I have dual homed the NIC2 to
172.16.3.1 and changed my towers to the same address range. I will change all
my towers according one subnet up from 172.16.2.* (next would be 172.16.3.*,
172.16.4.* etc).
So far I have the Server connected to the client and the
client can ping the server and vica versa. I can however not PING the clients.
HELP.
Help on this would be much appreciated!
