I recently rain some benchmarks (not on that hardware, though) using netstrain. The results were most interesting because they turned up an oddity in FreeBSD<->[anything else] network behavior that's still unexplained. However, for OpenVPN 2.06 on FreeBSD, the differences bewteen TAP (bridged) vs TUN (routed) were negligible. I was getting just shy of a megabyte a second through either one. <mike -- Mike Meyer <mwm@xxxxxxxxx> http://www.mired.org/consulting.html Independent Network/Unix/Perforce consultant, email for more information. _______________________________________________ Openvpn-users mailing list Openvpn-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-users Warning: require_once(../../../archive_common.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2006-06/msg00106.html on line 208 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../../../archive_common.php' (include_path='/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2006-06/msg00106.html on line 208 |
