I tried pinging 10.8.0.6 from FreeBSD, is that what you meant?  Still
no joy.  Also I see this in /var/log/messages once an hour:

May 31 09:22:21 Merlin named[435]: creating IPv4 interface tun0
failed; interface ignored

Is something not right with my tun interface?  Forgive me if you
receive this twice.
