Thanks Daniel. What I'm looking to achieve is something like the following: There'll be two types of servers I want staff to access: 1. Services that are available to the outside world (Internet), such as HTTPS, but deliver different content depending on whether being accessed internally or externally. 2. Services only for staff (e.g. ejabberd for Jabber IM), only used on the VPN. For type (2) services, I'd like to assign them hostnames such as jabber.staff.acmeco. Would that be worthwhile, and would it be considered split DNS because I'd have an internal DNS server (e.g. dnsmasq) to resolve those hostnames? Thanks, Matt :) ______________________ OpenVPN mailing lists https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-users Warning: require_once(../../../archive_common.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2006-06/msg00015.html on line 197 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../../../archive_common.php' (include_path='/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2006-06/msg00015.html on line 197 |
