Hi all, I'm having a little trouble getting the PAM plugin to work. I have a machine running CentOS 4.3 with all updates, with OpenVPN 2.0.7 from Dag Wieers' repository. The relevant (IMO) bits from files are as follows: /etc/openvpn/vpn.conf: plugin /usr/share/openvpn/plugin/lib/openvpn-auth-pam.so login username-as-common-name client-cert-not-required /var/log/messages: May 31 15:10:38 el03 openvpn: succeeded May 31 15:10:44 el03 openvpn[20027]: OpenVPN 2.0.7 i386-redhat-linux-gnu [SSL] [LZO] [EPOLL] built on Apr 29 2006 May 31 15:10:44 el03 openvpn[20027]: PLUGIN_INIT: POST /usr/share/openvpn/plugin/lib/openvpn-auth-pam.so 'login' intercepted=PLUGIN_AUTH_USER_PASS_VERIFY May 31 15:10:44 el03 openvpn[20027]: PLUGIN_INIT: plugin initialization function failed: /usr/share/openvpn/plugin/lib/openvpn-auth-pam.so May 31 15:10:44 el03 openvpn[20027]: Exiting May 31 15:10:44 el03 openvpn: failed My /etc/pam.d/login is however it comes with CentOS, I haven't edited it yet (I can't even get OpenVPN to start with the plugin, so PAM tweaks will come at a later stage). I've done various Google searches on the "PLUGIN_INIT" errors, but couldn't seem to find any appropriate matches, has anyone else on list seen this? If any more info is needed, then just let me know and you can see pretty much anything you like!
