The number given to Windows (10MB/s) has no effect on actual performance.
This is a FAQ.
Yes I know, that's why I post my problem because without openvpn ( 1Gbps
direct link ), files are transfered faster. ( average - 10500 KB/s ).
test.txt (10MB) => Direct transfert : less than 2 seconds
Openvpn : almost 14 seconds
So something has effect on actual performances.

Subject: [Openvpn-users] TAP-Win32 adapter @ 10Mbps .... 100Mbps or 1Gbps
wanted
Hello,
I really have no idea if it is possible to put this adapter faster than
10Mb.
My eth card is an Intel(R) PRO/1000 CT and my lan is at 1Gbps.
( Latest stable release: 1.0.3 with OpenVPN 2.0.5 (2005-11-04) )
Under winXP ( PIV 3.2Ghz 1.5MB RAM ), TAP-Win32 adapter is recognized as
a virtual 10MB adapter and I don't get to go faster than 1280 KB/s. ( 1%
of My Gigabit bandwith btw :p)
Thank you for any help.
And thank you anyway for any bad news :)
